Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made from SunnySide Threads ("SunnySide Threads," "we," "us," or "our") and is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Any capitalised terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms.
By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Delivery Address
- Orders will be shipped based on the delivery details provided during checkout. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate.
- If incorrect delivery details are provided, contact us within 10 minutes of placing your order. We will make every effort to update the address. Beyond this time, changes may not be possible, and SunnySide Threads is not liable for non-delivery or delays caused by incorrect details. Re-delivery fees may apply if the order must be re-shipped.
- Orders may be fulfilled from multiple locations depending on stock availability. No additional delivery charges will apply in these instances.
- Delivery charges are calculated at checkout, and by proceeding with your order, you accept these charges.
2. Delivery Timeframes
- We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1-3 business days of purchase. During sales events or holidays, processing times may be extended.
- Estimated delivery timeframes for Australian orders:
- Standard Shipping: 3-10 business days from dispatch.
- Express Shipping: 1-3 business days from dispatch.
- Delivery times are estimates only. SunnySide Threads is not responsible for delays outside our control, including carrier delays or unforeseen events.
- If your order has not arrived within 10 business days, please contact us at hello@sunnysidethreads.com.au for assistance. (Include your order number, name and address.)
3. Acceptance of Delivery
- Signature on delivery: If a signature is required, any person at the delivery address is deemed authorised to accept the package. Refusal to sign is considered refusal to accept delivery.
- Contactless delivery: Australia Post may leave parcels at your address in a safe location without requiring a signature. Delivery is deemed complete once the parcel is scanned as delivered.
- Redelivery and storage fees: If delivery is unsuccessful and returned to a depot, additional fees may apply for re-delivery or storage. If unclaimed, the goods may be returned to SunnySide Threads, and re-delivery fees will apply.
- SunnySide Threads is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of parcels after they are delivered or marked as delivered, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
4. Delivery, Risk and Title
- Delivery occurs when the goods are delivered to your nominated address, even if you are not present at the time.
- Risk and title pass to you upon delivery.
5. Lost or Missing Orders
- If you have not received your order within 14 days, please contact us at hello@sunnysidethreads.com.au.
- For lost or missing orders, we may provide the tracking details so you can contact the carrier directly.
- SunnySide Threads is not responsible for lost or missing packages.
6. Domestic Shipping Rates Within Australia
Express Shipping (Australia Post):
- Flat rate - $15
Standard Shipping (Australia Post):
- FREE
Tracking numbers are provided upon dispatch.
7. What Happens if I Use The Wrong Address for my Order?
- Please contact us at hello@sunnysidethreads.com.au immediately so that we can try to update your address prior to having your order dispatched. Please note sometimes we cannot update your address as the order may have already been processed at the warehouse.
- For Australian orders: If your order has been dispatched, please contact Australia Post and see if they can update your address. In the early stages, this is sometimes possible: https://auspost.com.au/receiving/manage-deliveries-in-transit.
- If your item has been sent/delivered to an incorrect address that was entered at the checkout, it may be returned to us or held at a post office until it is returned to us. Once this return to sender is complete, we will contact you and provide you with a full refund minus postage costs, back to your original method of payment. Unfortunately, not all parcels with the wrong address placed on them return, and we can’t be responsible for any costs incurred. Please make sure to use the right address at checkout.
- Transit times quoted here are estimated in business days and exclude local public holidays. Transit times quoted are subject to delays due to weather, holiday rush times, and custom delays. During busy times in the shop, shipping may be delayed.
- Please note that SunnySide Threads does not hold or accept any responsibility for packages that have been deemed lost, stolen, stuck in transit, or delivered. We may not issue refunds or store credit for packages that the courier confirms as lost in transit or delivered. Please contact your local postal service to locate your order.
